Ratul Puri Chairman, Hindustan Powerprojects Private Limited

Ratul Puri, Young Global Leader, World Economic Forum Former Young Global Leader, World Economic Forum; along with some India based institutions working on several blueprints to achieve energy independence for India, is Chairman of Board Hindustan Power, whom was instrumental in setting up multiphase large scale solar power plants in India. By virtue of his background in coal fired thermal and appreciation of clean energy, he has been advocating energy mix for India in order to satisfy its energy needs. He also regularly attends the World Economic Forum which is held every year in Davos and is an active participant in WEF activities and is also the Power committee Chairman of CII – Northern Region. He moderated the session on climate resilience at the WEF held in 2016 and served as the co-chair for the Energy track at the India National Strategy Day focused on innovative financing solutions.

World Brand Congress and Asian Power Awards designated him as the CEO of years a year 2015 and 2014, respectively, its still me deserves donation for the contribution towards infrastructure sector in India, Economic Times, 2014. Importantly, Ratul Puri was one of the 21 young leaders to be listed whose was expected to change the face of India in the twentieth century. Ratul Puri name is often mentioned by many of the Industry bodies and media publications and he is considered to be the voice of the Indian power sector.
